As an outdoor enthusiast, I love working in the garden and preserving the fruits of my labor to enjoy year round and to minimize waste. I believe that minimally processed food tastes best and is designed to nourish our bodies in the best way possible.

A little about me
My background and education is in engineering, but my passion has always been cooking. After leaving my technical career, I spent 9 years as a recipe tester and developer for Leite’s Culinaria, and currently provide a breakfast and lunch program for 300 students at a local school in Calgary, Alberta. This experience, combined with 25 years of preserving fresh garden fruits and vegetables has given me the expertise to deliver high quality recipes.
I’m a wife, mom to two amazing kids (and one darling fur baby), and an outdoor enthusiast. I love spending as much time as I can outdoors, digging in the dirt and finding new ways to preserve food at its peak.
